Possible Interaction: Oleic Acid and Ghrelin

supplement:

Oleic Acid

drug:

Ghrelin

Research Papers that Mention the Interaction

However, stearic acid, oleic acid , linoleic acid, and α-linolenic acid significantly suppressed octanoylated ghrelin production, with the effect of oleic acid being the strongest.
These results suggest that oleic acid is a potential inhibitor of octanoylated ghrelin production and that our assay system is a valuable tool for screening compounds with suppressive effects on octanoylated ghrelin production.
