supplement:

Epinephrine

supplement:

Vitamin B 6

Research Papers that Mention the Interaction

Platelet aggregation induced with the agonists ADP or epinephrine was significantly inhibited by vitamin B6 , and the platelets tended to aggregate at a slightly decreased rate.

Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate (PALP) inhibited ADP, thrombin, adrenaline , PAF and AA induced aggregation and 14C-5HT release.
This suggests that PALP may interact with specific glycoproteins on the platelet membrane involved in ADP, adrenaline and PAF induced primary aggregation and that PALP could be inhibiting ristocetin induced agglutination by direct interaction with ristocetin or F VIII RCoF.

PLP also produced a partial inhibition of platelet aggregation to epinephrine , arachidonic acid, A23187, and a dose-dependent inhibition of [14C]serotonin release to epinephrine and arachidonic acid.

It is concluded that PLP enhances the response of coronary smooth muscle to adrenaline by inhibiting a enzymatic pathway for the inactivation of catecholamines.
Relaxation of response to adrenaline were increased by PLP.

Release of epinephrine from isolated adrenergic secretory veiscles from the adrenal medulla (chromaffin granules) was found to be inhibited by a number of anion transport blocking agents, including SITS, probenecid, pyridoxal phosphate , and Na-isethionate.
