Research Papers that Mention the Interaction

Emodin , a tyrosine kinase inhibitor, effectively blocked tyrosine phosphorylation of p185(neu) overexpressed in cultured rat C611B cholangiocarcinoma (ChC) cells and in neu-transformed WB-F344 rat-liver epithelial stem-like cells (WBneu cells).

Furthermore, intracellular Ca(2+) concentration ([Ca(2+)]i) and tyrosine phosphorylation, which serve as key regulators of sperm function, were dose-dependently reduced by emodin (50-400μM).
These results suggest that emodin inhibits human sperm functions by reducing sperm [Ca(2+)]i and suppressing tyrosine phosphorylation in vitro.

We found that emodin decreased tyrosine phosphorylation of HER-2/neu and preferentially suppressed proliferation of HER-2/neu-overexpressing NSCLC cells.
