Possible Interaction: Chlorpropamide and Epinephrine

“ Chlorpropamide induced an increase in the permeability to water of the urinary bladder of Bufo vulgaris japonicus only when added to the serosal medium even in the absence of vasopressin and this effect was inhibited by epinephrine , glutathione and 10-22M calcium.”

“In contrast chlorpropamide added to the serosal medium obviously inhibited the effect of exogenous cyclic 3', 5'-AMP on the permeability to water in the presence of epinephrine and also markedly depressed the D.C. conductance of the bladder.”
