“The effects of both groups of stimulants on cGMP levels were antagonized by the lipoxygenase inhibitor, nordihydroguaiaretic acid , and by the radical scavenger, phenylbutylnitrone, whereas gossypol or canavanine only antagonized the EDRF-induced effect on endothelial cGMP levels.”
